To benefit from our Excel advanced training, learners must have good working knowledge in these intermediate areas;

  • Have a good understanding of spreadsheet structure and its components for example, cells, rows, columns, tabs, pages, charts, ranges, workbooks, worksheets, design and layout.
  • Able to enter and edit data for example inserting data into single and multiple cells, clearing cells, editing cell contents, replicating data, using find and replace, add and delete rows and columns; using absolute and relative cell references, adding data to a chart.
  • Understand numerical and other information such as numbers, charts, graphs, text, images
  • Able to store and retrieve data for example Save, save as, find, open, close, open CSV file in spreadsheet application, save spreadsheet file as CSV; templates.

  • Able to use Functions and Formulas for example Brackets, AUTOSUM, Count, Average and Round, Maximum and Minimum, and IF.
