Funded Courses Level 3
If you’re aged 19 or over, you could access cv boosting courses for free. This is part of the support available from the government to help you gain the skills you need to get the job you want - whatever your stage of life.
And if you are claiming unemployment related benefits for example universal credit, job seekers allowance, employment and support allowance, income support or disability living allowance, you don't need to pay for your course(s). The government will provide funding for these course(s) to assist and support you into employment, apprenticeship or further education.
Who should enrol on these fully funded courses for jobs:
- Aged 19 and over and living in London and claiming unemployment related benefits
- Adults who are currently out of work
- Adults who are working (including self-employed or part-time)
- Adults who are earning under £25K
- Claiming, UC, JSA, ESA, IS, DLA or any other relevant benefits.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Living in United Kingdom
- Aged 19 or over from 31 August 2024 (born before 01 September 2005)
- British citizen, or a citizen of a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) and a resident in the EEA for the last 3 years, or have settled/indefinite leave to remain (ILR) or refugee status
- Not in receipt of any other government-funded training.
Enrolment Criteria:
- Proof of Valid Photo Identification (passport, driving license, or birth certificate)
- Proof of Address/Residency (council tax statement, rent statement, or gas bill, electricity bill, telephone bill, internet bill, bank or building society statement) to name a few
- Proof of Benefits (most recent benefits statement for Universal Credit)
- SHARE CODE if you are EEA/EEC citizen
- Proof of salary/wage slips for the last 3 months for those working part-time or self-employed
- National Insurance Number (NINO).

Duration: 12 months
Requirement: Learners must have FS Level 2 or GCSE equivalent in English and Maths.
Location: ASF courses are primarily conducted online. Learners may have to attend any relevant events or job fares organised by the providers or the colleges.
